Most of the edible salts used in the world are from the sea which cause goiter and lead to cancer.

Himalayan rock salt is the best salt available in the world as it is rich in natural minerals which are highly beneficial for health, especially for the mental growth of children and physical health of the elderly.

Pakistan has the greatest natural reservoir of Himalayan Pink Salt. Its mines are located in Khewra, District Jehlum and Quaid Abad, District Khushab.

It is extracted through explosion by using dynamite. If dynamite particles are not removed from the salt lumps, it causes cancer.

Some of the salt lumps also contain some layers or linings of stone. If these lumps are not removed, they may develop stones in kidneys and the gall bladder.

Salt lumps extracted from the mines are transported in trucks and trollies to the salt factories and are dumped on the ground. These lumps are full of dust which gets accumulated on them during the transportation. If the dust is not removed from these lumps, it causes several diseases of stomach and intestines. We procure the finest quality of salt lumps. Lumps containing particles of dynamite or any layer or lining of stone are rejected. The remaining lumps that are free of dynamite particles and stone layers or linings are put in the processing pond for washing off the dust particles. During this process 30% - 40% of the raw salt is lost, but the remaining top quality salt is highly beneficial for health.
